What it does
Manage your ESO addons without the bloat. Here's what you get.
One-click installs
Find an addon, hit install. Scribe downloads, extracts, and places it | no ZIP wrangling, no manual folder management. Done.
Dependency detection
Tons of addons depend on things like LibAddonMenu or LibStub. Scribe catches these from addon metadata and from freeform description text, then offers to install the missing ones in one click.
Bulk updates
Update everything at once, or pick individual ones. Scribe checks for new versions on launch so you see what's outdated immediately.
Bulk uninstall
Select a bunch of addons, nuke them all at once. Or use the per-addon trash button for single removals.
Cross-platform
Native builds for Windows (~5 MB), Linux (<5 MB), and macOS (~14 MB). Same UI, same features. No Electron, no Java runtime | just Go + the OS webview.
Tiny footprint
~50-60 MB RAM while running. Opens instantly | addon lists are virtualized so even hundreds of installed addons don't slow anything down. The remote catalog is cached in SQLite so repeat launches skip the network.
Free & open source
MIT licensed. Poke around on GitHub, file issues, send PRs. No ads, no tracking, no premium tier, no account.
Picks up existing addons
Point Scribe at your AddOns folder and it detects everything already there. No re-install needed. Works whether you installed stuff manually, through Minion, or however else.
Simple uninstall
Click the trash button on any addon to remove its folder. The built-in dependency checker can help you spot unused libraries if you want to clean house.
